Fraud Alert – Unauthorized Rental Listings
We have become aware that one or more individuals are fraudulently impersonating SIREG Management Inc. on Facebook Marketplace and possibly other online platforms by posting unauthorized rental listings and requesting payment from prospective tenants.
SIREG Management Inc. does not advertise rental units on Facebook Marketplace and will never request deposits, application fees, or rent payments via e-transfer, gift cards, or before a lease is properly executed.
If you encounter a listing or communication purporting to be from our company that appears suspicious, please do not send funds and report the listing to the platform immediately.
Anyone who believes they may have been targeted is encouraged to contact local police and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
We are actively working with the relevant platforms to have these fraudulent accounts removed.
